Due to its affordability, workability and durability, brass is a very good choice for jewelry. It is durable, easy to clean, and will last for decades with proper care. Since brass is usually made of a combination of zinc and copper, it can often tarnish, or oxidize. This seems to very from person to person, the tarnishing should stabilize within a couple of weeks leaving you with a piece of jewelry that will last for years to come.

1) Use a tape measure, or if you do not have one, use a strip of paper, ribbon or cord. Wrap it around your wrist where you would normally wear the bracelet.

2) If you are using a strip of paper, ribbon or cord. Mark the end of the strip and then measure the length against a ruler. This is your wrist size.

3) Note the number on the measuring tape, and add a 1cm to determine the right bracelet size.
